Snow Patrol — Run

I hope you’ll like it. You’ve been the only thing that’s right In all I’ve done And I can barely look at you But every single time I do I know we’ll make it anywhere Away from here Light up, light up As if you have a choice Even if you cannot hear my voice I’ll be right beside you dear

Michael Buble — Feeling Good

Turned 27 today and felt so much love around. Nothing compares to the joy and happiness that people can bring. A smile, a word, a kiss, a message, a hug. Thank you for all of these! So I decided 27 is the perfect age to feel good. 😉

OneRepublic — Good Life

OneRepublic — Good Life

Because when on vacation, life is good Woke up in London yesterday Found myself in the city near Piccadilly Don’t really know how I got here I got some pictures on my phone New names and numbers that I don’t know Address to places like Abbey Road Day turns to night, night turns to whatever we want We’re young enough to say Oh, this has gotta be the good life This has gotta be the good life This could really be a good life, good life Say, “Oh, got this feeling that you can’t fight” Like this city is on fire tonight This could really be a good life, a good, good life To my friends in New York, I say hello My friends in L.A. they don’t know Where I’ve been for the past few years or so Paris to China to Colorado Sometimes there’s airplanes I can’ t jump out Sometimes there’s bullshit that don’t work now We all got our stories, but please tell me What there is to complain about? When you’re happy like a fool, let it take you over When everything is out you gotta take it in Oh, this has gotta be the good life This has gotta be the good life This could really be a good life, good life I say, oh, got this feeling that you can’t fight Like this city is on fire tonight This could really be a good life, a good, good life Oh, a good, good life, yeah Hopelessly I feel like there might be something that I’ll miss Hopelessly I feel like the window closes oh so quick Hopelessly I’m taking a mental picture of you now ‘Cause hopelessly The hope is we have so much to feel good about Oh, this has gotta be the good life This has gotta be the good life This could really be a good life, good life Say, “Oh, got this feeling that you can’t fight” Like this city is on fire tonight This could really be a good life, a good, good life Oh yeah, good, good life, good life, oh, this is Listen, To my friends in New York, I say hello My friends in L.A. they don’t know Where I’ve been for the past few years or so Paris to China to Colorado Sometimes there’s airplanes I can’ t jump out Sometimes there’s bullshit that don’t work now We all got our stories but please tell me What there is to complain about?

Imagine Dragons — On Top Of The World

I always keep the best for last. I eat the most appealing chocolate bar the last, I save the best outfit for Sundays and I always plan my vacation in August. Is the anticipation that thrills me. It keeps me excited the whole summer and gives me something to day dream about. Oh, and when the vacation is only 2 weeks away, I pretty much feel like I’m on top of the world. So, August, let’s have some fun!

Snow Patrol — Chasing Cars

Song of the day - July 31, 2014

Snow Patrol — Chasing Cars

There are days when you feel you can move the mountains. Days of high spirits, energy, enthusiasm. And then there are those days when you just can’t move a finger. For whatever reason, you get up sick. Whether a sore throat, a headache, fever or something else you just can’t get out of bed. You try any remedy you can imagine to make you feel better. But If you’re lucky enough, the best remedy will be standing next to you. He’ll be taking the day off just to take care of you, he’ll be making you tea, feeding you, holding your hand and just laying down close to you and cheering you up. He’ll be looking at you with those worried, pretty eyes and suddenly even the fever will go away. It’s being loved that cures every ache.

The Temper Trap — Sweet Disposition

The Temper Trap — Sweet Disposition

They say that change is the only constant in life. Everything changes at one point or another. Seasons change, people change, fashion changes.. We’re all in a chaotic, continuous movement that most of the time seems to be out of our control. Sometimes Change comes and forces us to take a step outside our confort zone. We fear it, we would rather avoid it, but eventually we’re left with no choice but to embrace it. Whether happy or sad, rewarding or failed, intended or unforseen, every moment we experience enriches us and defines who we are in the end. Be brave, accept every challenge, life’s about living. P.S. Good luck, brave Diva! Author Recommended Posts 1. The 3 C’s: Choice, Chance, Change 2. Poveste fara titlu…inca 3. Feelin’ the blanks 4. Nimic nu e intamplator

Coldplay — A Sky Full Of Stars

Song of the day – July 17, 2014

Coldplay — A Sky Full Of Stars

We people like to build. We build a career, we build a house, we build a life for ourselves. Sometimes we even like to build pedestals. We tend to get enchanted by some people around us, find them amazingly perfect and hurry to place them on these pedestals. We admire their personalities, kindness, strength, success, we might even share the same interests, they’re definitely persons worth admiring. This happens maybe cause at one point or another we all need someone to look up to, some sort of model. The problem is that we assume we know every dimension of them, when the truth is that most of the time we hurry to make false suppositions based on the little pieces that they reveal to us. And people always let only their good sides to be discovered..Eventually the spell breaks and it’s when we realize that in fact they were not that extraordinary-superhuman as we thought they were. We were only enchanted by our own expectations. At the end of the day, if you decide to cherish someone, don’t search for heroes elsewhere. Look right beside you. It’s where you’ll find the only person who deserves to be your hero on a pedestal. “Cause you’re a sky, ’cause you’re a sky full of stars ‘Cause you light up the path”

Morcheeba — Enjoy the Ride

Song of the day – July 10, 2014

Morcheeba — Enjoy the Ride

I worry a lot. I make plans, I stress about having everything perfectly organized, anticipating things and being in control. Well, the truth is that sometimes I’m a little bit of a fool. Not the perfectly planned moments are those that brought me most joy. It’s not the clear road I went on without difficulties that I remember and feel excited to share the memory of. No, clearly not that one. But the one that we drove on with no gps or mobile signal, getting lost with no gas in the middle of nowhere. If I could only remember not to take life too seriously… It’s not always about winning, getting through with no obstacles, wearing the perfect dress or being liked by everybody. Let go, run wild, get lost, get found. The only bags you need to pack are one big smile and an open heart. No plans, no worries .. just enjoy the ride! Stop chasing shadows, just enjoy the ride.

Youth Group — Forever Young

Song of the day – July 03, 2014

Youth Group — Forever Young

Is there an age for happiness? For that absolute happiness when the stars align and you finally feel complete, nothing’s missing. You feel that happiness as a child or later as a youngster when a simple Scrabble game, a new toy, your favorite song or a pair of fancy converse can truly make you feel complete. But as we grow older we get greedy. We take things for granted, forget to enjoy the little things, the little wonders that life throws at our feet daily and that we just ignore. We get blinded by the higher goals that we set for ourselves and refuse happiness in the present moment. We postpone it for tomorrow, next year or 3 years from Now. Tomorrow you’re going to be richer, you’re going to have a bigger house, better car, you’ll be happy then. Slow down, stop for a while, look around and find beauty and excitement in the small things. Like you used to do when you were younger. Be forever young at heart and you’ll be forever happy. So many adventures couldn’t happen today So many songs we forgot to play So many dreams swinging out of the blue We let them come true Forever young, I want to be forever young Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever? P.S. La multi ani, tata lui Adi!

Ed Sheeran — Kiss Me

Song of the day – June 26, 2014

Ed Sheeran — Kiss Me

“They’d come down here and dance by the lake. They didn’t even bring music. No CD player, no radio. They’d just dance.[…] Like they were hearing the same song or something. I just don’t understand how the same thing can be played in both of their heads like that. If it isn’t love between them, how did the same thing get there?” London Is the Best City in America, Laura Dave You know those moments, those tiny fractions of seconds when the smallest things can make us feel like the happiest and most fortunate persons alive? You know that feeling, right? That top-of-the world, you’re bursting out with happiness kind of feeling. For me it’s when I dance with him. Not in public, not anywhere fancy, but at home. We’ll be cleaning around the house, mopping the floor or smth like that, when out of the blue I’ll be taking his arms and waltz around. He’ll be playing the game, he knows our little routine. I’ll be doing a pirouette, he’ll be leaning me back elegantly striking a pose then we’ll just start laughing of our goofiness. Pure, complete happiness. Simple as that. This song makes me wanna slow dance with you. On and on.

OneRepublic — Counting Stars

Song of the day – June 19, 2014

OneRepublic — Counting Stars

Have you ever had in your life a special person that you could not define? You can’t call this person your lover, friend, colleague or even acquaintance. None of these words define what they are to you. They’re a bit of everything, but can’t be anything. Somehow it seems that you’ve known this person since forever, they’re just another version of you. You feel the same, think the same, in a strange and wonderful way something connects there.. You don’t share your lunch with this person, don’t do grocery shopping with her/him, don’t hang out, don’t plan vacations together. All you have are moments and glances. But the kind that remain permanently vivid in your mind. So you see, they’re a bit of everything, but can’t be anything. There is just no more room for them to fit in your story . I feel something so right Doing the wrong thing I feel something so wrong Doing the right thing
