Is there an age for happiness?
For that absolute happiness when the stars align and you finally feel complete, nothing’s missing.
You feel that happiness as a child or later as a youngster when a simple Scrabble game, a new toy, your favorite song or a pair of fancy converse can truly make you feel complete.
But as we grow older we get greedy. We take things for granted, forget to enjoy the little things, the little wonders that life throws at our feet daily and that we just ignore. We get blinded by the higher goals that we set for ourselves and refuse happiness in the present moment.
We postpone it for tomorrow, next year or 3 years from Now. Tomorrow you’re going to be richer, you’re going to have a bigger house, better car, you’ll be happy then.
Slow down, stop for a while, look around and find beauty and excitement in the small things. Like you used to do when you were younger.
Be forever young at heart and you’ll be forever happy.
So many adventures couldn’t happen today So many songs we forgot to play So many dreams swinging out of the blue We let them come true
Forever young, I want to be forever young Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever?
P.S. La multi ani, tata lui Adi!
