No dependency on a daily job, employers, tight schedules and stretched deadlines. Yes…this is possible…and a lot of artists have chosen this path lately. Good examples to take… if it only was that easy…

Beatboxing (also beatbox, beat box or b-box) is a form of vocal percussion primarily involving the art of producing drum beats, rhythm, and musical sounds using one’s mouth, lips, tongue, and voice. It may also involve singing, vocal imitation of turntablism, and the simulation of horns, strings, and other musical instruments. Beatboxing today is connected with hip-hop culture, being one of “the elements”, although it is not limited to hip-hop music and it has extended to a variety of electronic music genres. The term “beatboxing” is sometimes used to refer to vocal percussion in general.
DUB FX (real name Benjamin Stanford) is a worldwide street performer and studio recording artist from St Kilda, Melbourne, Australia. After playing and singing in a band called Twitch, he set out solo when he moved to Europe. His trademark is creating rich live music using only his own performance aided by Live looping and effect pedals combined with his voice. He creates intricate hip hop, reggae and drum and bass rhythms.
