What if…the following post will be about what if questions?

No, I don’t mean real questions just those kind of questions running through my head in the daily dream I am living. It’s not my intention to write an essay or to tell a tale, not even to abuse my brain…only to express myself. A bunch of what if questions about how I feel about me, about the world that surrounds me, some of them cruel, others pretty idiotic, some deep and some shallow. But it’s all me (might be some that are not entirely mine…now really, I am not 100% original…nobody is). I always felt that I am the sum of my experiences and decisions. But…

  • what if decisions never existed…only random choices without any logic behind? What highschool would I have gone to, what college, what friends would I have made, who would my wife be, what music would I listen to?

  • what if we were to forget everything that happens during the day after the night’s sleep? How would we live a brand new day without having any previous experience? Would we make the same mistakes, would we make the same choices, would we make friends with the same persons, would we love the same people?

  • what if there was no music? What would I feel? How would I feed my soul then? I think that music is the only thing I can not imagine my life without. However strange this might sound.

  • what if there was no money? what if the only way to get something would be by paying with time from your life (without being able to gain or steal more time)? And let’s say that we all have an established time span…80 years. what would we really want then? Let’s assume a house will cost 10 years, a car 2 years, a phone 6 months, a vacation 1 year? A crime (any type of murder, rape)  will cost the remaining of your life minus 10 minutes. Only real love will be free…but you will only know it’s true love only after swiping the time card…if it’s not real love you will be charged 5 years. How will you live then? What will politicians do?

  • what if you had only one hour per day to spend however you want? How would you spend it? Will it be doing something you really want to do or doing something you have to do in order for your life to be balanced?

  • what if we could not tell any lies? Not even the little white ones? Could we stand knowing nothing but the truth?

  • what if truth actually hurt? Like physical pain. Would you want to know the truth at all costs? I love truth, truth sets me free every time even if I hurt the people I love by saying it. I feel that I owe it to myself to be as truthful as I can.

  • what if you didn’t filter anything through your heart…will you be more at peace with yourself? Or the other way around?

  • what if you only have one shot at real happiness? What if you miss it? How would you live then knowing that you will never be happy?

  • what if all spoke different languages without any of us being able to learn another language but our own? How would we communicate?

  • what if you could choose to be the best in the world at something? What will that something be?

  • what if you will have the option and ability to fall in love each day but have your heart broken at the end of the day? Would you still be doing it?

  • what if you had the choice to find out if the person you truly love and loves you back is really your soul mate? They say we only have one soul mate. Would you risk finding out the truth? Better yet…what if you risk it and find out the one you love is not your soul mate? Would you give her/him up and start searching for your real soul mate or continue to love her/him the same?

  • what if you had one wish granted (three rules though…1 – you can not chose money, 2- there can be one thing only and 3 – you can not choose anything that will grant you more wishes)? What would your wish be? Would you wish to be healthy? To live long? To have the best day ever?

  • what if you could read the mind of 3 people? Who would those people be?

  • what if you will actually find out that you’ve already lived the best moment of your life? Would you be sad that it already happened or will you be glad that you lived it?

  • what if you had the possibility to have a double of yourself doing all the things that you don’t want to do but the only way to use it would be that you will have to put your life on “pause” while the other you is doing those things…will you use the other you? If yes, when?

  • what if you had the option to find out how will you die (but not when)? Will you use it?

There are more where they came from but I am going to stop here…one last question though:

  • what if there were no what if questions? What would this post have been about?
